TheChemical Planning Analyst will play a critical role in our operations team byproviding detailed analysis and strategic insights to optimize planningprocesses across multiple owned and third-party manufacturing sites. Thisposition requires a highly analytical thinker with a strong background insupply chain management, advanced proficiency in data analysis, and experiencewith ERP systems such as NetSuite. The Chemical Planning Analyst will focus onimproving inventory accuracy, reducing costs, forecasting demand, and drivingcontinuous improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize planning processes across multiple owned and third-party manufacturing sites to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create purchase orders, transfer orders, and work orders as needed.
  • Leverage ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, to monitor and manage supply chain data, ensuring accuracy and operational alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory levels, supply chain performance, and demand trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and commercial leadership to refine demand forecasts and align supply plans with market needs.
  • Prepare, review, and adjust supply plans based on demand forecasts and production capabilities, ensuring timely delivery of  products to customers.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights and detailed reports to senior management, including performance metrics, supply chain risks, and areas  for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing processes and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Assist in training and supporting team members on planning tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Strong skills in data analysis, attention to detail, and technical capacity.
  • Exceptional communication proficiency with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to partner effectively with leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and other analytical tools.
  • Commitment to adhering to established safety guidelines and processes.

Education & Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. A master’s  degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or planning roles within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for NetSuite, and strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, and VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments and with external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends.
